Gamo Rocket .177 Cal, 9.6 Grains, Ballistic Tip, 150/TinMar 11, 2009
By Mark Williamson Gamo Rocket .177 Cal, 9.6 Grains, Ballistic Tip, 150/Tin
A very great performance ballistic alloy pellet with a straight and lethal combination which makes it deadly to whatever you shoot it at. A very powerful pellet which needs to be carefully handled by adults or at least under adult supervision. Beware the cost of shipping this item to you as it is heavy, but there is only a small tin of it. Good for small varmint hunting. With the use of a good scope the sky's the limit.

great hunting pelletSep 14, 2009

these pellets have great penetration, accuracy, and really just hit hard! i killed a groundhog with one shot in my 820 FPS Crossman Storm, from 7 yards in my chicken coup. it didnt move a single muscle. I have tried Crossman Premeiers and JSB Predators at the same distance and they failed to kill in one shot. these are the best hunting pellet on the market.

Gamo RocketMay 25, 2010

I tested out these pellets in my old Daisy 880. Now my old BB/pellet gun is not that accurate. However, I was not just going for accuracy. I was also going for what gave me the best grouping. I do not believe these are good for accuracy over 20 yards. Your riffle may differ.

I will say this, these pellets can punch through a lot of stuff. The BB tip sure does add strength to the pellet. If you are after a pellet that can hit hard on a large target, then these are nice to have. Keep in mind, the tip of the pellet is a little heavy so you might need to aim a little high.

Gamo Rocket .177 Cal. 9.6 grain Ballistic Tip PelletAug 04, 2011
By John J. Armenta This is an extremely powerful pellet. I was plinking in the yard today and wanted to compare the penetration power of an assortment of pellets. I was firing the pellets from my Gamo Whisper (1,000 fps) my target was a six inch diameter piece of galvanized pipe which is pretty thick. I was firing the Gamo Magnum, Match, Hunter, Masterpoint, and Rocket Pellets. I was firing from about 20yds. The first four pellets made pretty good dents in the pipe, but when I fired the Gamo Rocket Pellet, it went clean through the front side of the pipe and made a welt on the other side. At first I thought it was a thin part of the pipe so I shot at the pipe again and the pellet went through the front again with no problem, I was very impressed with the penetrating power of the Gamo Rocket Pellet. If you want to kill any pests with one shot, this pellet won't let you down. It's an awesome pellet and one of my favorites.

Serious firepower and penetration!Aug 17, 2011
By G. Evans My Remington "Vantage" fires these babies at just under 1100 FPS and they penetrate beyond belief! Great for small pests and once you have them zeroed in with a scope you can shoot through a hole the size of a dime at 20 yards all day. Be careful not to disfigure the skirt of the pellet during loading to keep the groups nice and tight. They are worth every cent and are the only pellets I use! If shooting indoors MAKE CERTAIN YOU HAVE A GOOD BACKSTOP! They go through 2" x 4" 's like butter!
