This mount is working out just fine for my 2nd generation GSG-5. I would have liked the claw action to open more to make it easier to take on and off, and it seems pretty tall. But when on it is level, locks on solid, keeps the red dot I use zero'd, and really is working out well.

I bought a CETME without realizing that some accept G3 parts only because they are not CETME's, they're G3 parts guns. I've read reviews claiming that this item will keep your weapon from cycling. This is true IF you have the side of the mount with the rail on the same side your brass ejects. If you flip it around and place the 90 degree rail on the side of the charging handle and the fastening bolt on the side of the ejector, you can tighten it all the way down and still charge your weapon properly. It fits great, looks great AND I can see through to use the (horrible, in my opinion) iron sights if need be.

This mount will fit on the receiver of my G3--just not how it's supposed to. It will not hook onto the lips of the receiver; instead, I have to mount it farther down the receiver. That being said, it still has a snug fit.

This a great mount for the price. I out it on my G3 with barely any hassle or problems. the red dot i bought fits great on it as well. There's nothing really wrong with it, the only down-side to it was that it came in a blank plastic pack with no labels or anything, but who cares about packaging??

This thing is a pain to install, scratched the hell out of my gun's finish, and when all was said and done, the top rail was tilted rendering my scopes windage and elevation adjustments difficult or impossible to perform accurately.
Save yourself some trouble and buy the single top mounted claw rail. No problems with it.
