A highly recomended buyMay 12, 2010
By Gary Kugler I just received this vest about a week ago and havent had time to write a review so that is what I am doing now, hah. Anyway this is one of the best vests that I have purchaced; It is made of very durable material, I can tell I will have it for quite some time. All the pouches fit my gear quite well, aside for my radio which was a tad small, but it still fits with a little force. I really like the design of the velcro/button pouch fasteners, very handy when holding gear that dosnt fit all the way. It is easy to size the top strap on the pistol hoster with this ingenious plastic thing that comes with the vest. One downside is that the holster is a little small and holds medium to small size handguns, so I have to use my larger thigh holster for my Desert Eagle. But it fits my Glock and Berreta easily. Now reguarding the other pouches there are: Two rifle magazines, two handgun magazines, a radio, a misc. gear, a flashlight, and a baton pouch. Not to mention there is a fairly large zipper pouch on the back, good for all sorts of goodies. Also on the back there is a decent patch of velcro for any sort of ID things (Police, Team, Number, Etc). Another plus is that the shotgun shell loops are removable with a velcro backing, could put really anything velcro there too. Now before I start to ramble on and on I should bring this to a close. All in all it is a great vest, and I recomend it to anyone looking for a combat vest at a decent price.

Cover Me!Apr 19, 2010
By Christopher White Actually I purchased this with camping in mind not storming into criminal lairs :). I really like the snap and velcro closures. They make me feel that my stuff is secure. I was a little worried about the size as I'm a bigger guy 200lbs at 5'7" but there is a almost infinitely adjustable stretchy lace on both sides you can use to adjust the size.

Excellent Vest!Dec 07, 2008
By T. Lewis I've had this vest for over a year now. It's great, absolutely wonderful. Very intuitive to use. Fits comfortably for me (5ft 10, 150 lbs)and not too snug or loose with plenty of room for adjustments. I use mine for airsoft and all. I was even able to hand paint the Punisher logo on there, and it looks fantastic. Highly recommend!

Not for Law Enforcement UseDec 30, 2010
By Popo Here Good looking vest but does not work well for law enforcement officials. This has a right hand holster that is upright with a left handed thumb release so it's hard to release. Who makes a right handed holster with a thumb release that you cannot use your thumb to release? The handgun magazine pouches are on the left side for a right hand release instead of left so you cannot do a tactical reload. Imagine that in a gun fight!!!!!! I think this vest is just ok for play use not for serious tactical police application. The pistol magazines should be on the opposite side and the handgun holster should tilt (cant) for easy crossdraw. For tactical use, I wouldn't recommend. Spend more and get something that works well. It fits well though.

Good and BadJun 04, 2010
By Richard Leslie Stasny First, I received the vest very quickly, I liked the way most of the compartments are arranged. Then I loaded it up, and discovered that a 1911, Commander model does not fit! It slips out the bottom, making the weapon all but inaccessible and the bottom of the magazine well rubs on ar mags that are exposed at the top. I paid too much for that gun to get it torn up like that. Also noted is that the smaller magazine pouches don't fit single stack mags well, but I did like the additional pouch and velcro area on the back of the vest. I will modify the holster and will only use 20 round mags on that side so all metal will be covered. Overall not bad if I ever purchase another I will spend a little more and put things exactly where I want them.
