Great product, great priceJan 23, 2010

Being left handed its quite hard to find a quality leg holster for the left hand. theyre all over priced and hip holsters aswell as all the ambidextrous holsters . this one is great it has three different "modes" thigh w/ belt clip, just thigh, or hip holster so you can change it up dipending on the situation (ex thigh w/ clip for alot of running around/cqb, just thigh for alot of crouching/sniping in bushes. and i use the hip holster if i'm doing alot of climbing for sniping.) the holster has a spare magazine holder and has snap buttons on the gun strap for quick release. i have enjoyed it greatly and suggest that all lefties get a this holster for their pistol

Retention strap impracticalMar 13, 2011
By Wade A. Lieseke, Jr. The holster holds my weapon, but the retention strap doesn't work well. The design makes it very hard to retrieve the weapon with any speed whatsoever, and actually requires two hands. Whoever designed it was never a cop.

Good holster ... may need some work if you dont run a under barrel attachment.Jun 04, 2011
By wisco 1 UTG Special Ops Universal Leg Holster
UTG spec ops leg holster of various styles. The ones with single padded leg wrap and sewn squares in holster.
Good holster for the 15$ price. I like the lower hang of these style holsters as they leave extra room on your belt area. If you run a under barrel attachment it is good to go! (light or dot etc). Otherwise the holster may be to large for most pistols. If you push the pistol in to far the front site blade will extend beyond the opening and catch when trying to extract the pistol. A simple fix is sewing part of the opening closed ... or sewing a "stop" so the trigger guard can only enter so far (I saw a video on utube showing this and it would work well). Pistol used was a 92 taurus. I like the holster for the price.

A bit bulky but does the jobFeb 17, 2012

I bought this to have when I am hunting. With a back pack on I found that with my regular belt holster, it kept rubbing my backpack and it made both gun (Glock 23) and back pack not sit quite right on me. Now, like I said, I have a Glock 23. This holster was a bit big for it. The gun set a little deeper inside than I liked. I took a needle and thread and did a little modifying to how low the gun would go and it worked great. It is a bit bulky. I'm not sure why There is as much padding on the holster itself - though the padding around the leg makes it a comfortable fit.

No thumb break!!!Jan 12, 2012
By Mike Eaton I am on a tactical team. This product has no thunb break. If you needed it in a hurry such as transitioning from long gun to side arm you may not have the time. I gave it to my son for his air soft gun.
